ExperiencED Program

India's vast youth population of 371.4 million (2020) presents both opportunities and challenges, with barriers like limited access to higher education and rising unemployment affecting economic productivity. To address this, Shikshanganga engages youth in the social sector, particularly in education, through professional volunteering.

These programs equip young people with leadership skills, professional competencies, and a collaborative, changemaking mindset. By fostering both personal growth and societal impact, Shikshanganga's approach helps address critical issues like education equity while preparing youth for a productive future.

Initiatives Under The Program (60-90 Days Engagement by Volunteers)

Science For All

Science For All

This  program is  dedicatedly operating towards fostering activity-based, hands-on learning in metropolitan low income and government  schools, currently active in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra.

Trained youth volunteers serve as facilitators, working directly with students to make science concepts accessible through demonstrations, experiments, and engaging activities. This approach not only nurtures students' interest in science but also helps them develop a scientific mindset in their daily lives.

Since its launch in 2022,  this initiative has successfully completed five cohorts, engaging a large number of youth volunteers who have played a key role in the program's impact.

Sanskar-Abhyaswarga

Sanskar-Abhyaswarga (Community Level Afterschool Program)

As of 2019, Pune had 477 slums, where challenges like limited access to quality education, child marriage, and issues around health and hygiene often affect children and students of all ages.

To address these, we operate with a program that engages students in educational activities through one-on-one teaching at the slum level. This initiative has been functional in one slum for the past six years, even before the organization was formally established.

Working in slum areas can be challenging due to their dynamic environment, but our dedicated facilitators remain highly motivated and committed, ensuring that students receive consistent support and learning opportunities. Through their efforts, we strive to create lasting educational impact in these underserved communities.

National Integrity Tour

National Integrity Tour

The National Integrity Tour is an interstate volunteering initiative designed to foster experiential leadership among youth. Over 10-12 days, participants engage with various organizations across different states, immersing themselves in local traditions, culture, and tourism. This program serves as a study tour, offering invaluable exposure while creating meaningful experiences.

By facilitating volunteer exchange, we aim to build bridges between states, promoting unity through shared learning. We have collaborated with organizations in four states, both in southern and northern India, with the core mission of nurturing youth with a deep sense of diversity, equality, and togetherness.
